Welcome to our Tiny Forest

Lake Macquarie's second Tiny Forest was planted on 29 October 2023 by community volunteers. The project was lead by local Not-for-Profit organisation The Groundswell Collective who partnered with private landholders from Urban Hum. The design of this forest includes reclaimed timber retaining, an outdoor classroom, and 740 plants that are comprised of 22 native tree and shrub species endemic to the region.
